Projeto “Natureza reinventada” é tema da Cerrado Galeria na 3ª edição da ArPa
Apresentamos o projeto "Natureza reinventada" na 3ª edição da ArPa, feira de arte contemporânea que acontece na próxima semana, em São Paulo.
Para esta edição, reunimos trabalhos de artistas que se alinham na forma de interpretar a natureza, trazendo o diálogo entre a sabedoria ancestral e o contemporâneo em sua perspectiva poética.
Com curadoria de Divino Sobral, o projeto “Natureza reinventada” trata das relações entre a vida humana e o meio ambiente, permitindo a reflexão sobre os resultados desta interação por aqueles que se dedicam a observá-la.
De acordo com Sobral: “A vida humana depende das outras formas de vida existentes no planeta, e ganha sentido quando representada por ou relacionada com outras formas de vida, em narrativas que criam ficções que revestem com camadas de mistério a nova realidade configurada pelas obras.”
Adriana Vignoli reside em Brasília e produz em formatos diversos como desenho, escultura, fotografia e performance, a fim de investigar a paisagem na construção de sua poética marcada pela biofabulação.
Em sua obra os elementos e materiais naturais como terra, água, ar, fogo e plantas são empregados no sentido de conduzir à transformação alquímica, abrindo um processo subjetivo de cura da alma humana. Interessa a ela dissolver as fronteiras material e simbólica das coisas; provocar o observador a experimentar o tempo como um fluxo contínuo, indissociável em passado, presente e futuro.
Manuela Costa Silva vive em Goiânia e se vale de diferentes formatos para produzir: desde desenhos, pinturas, esculturas, cerâmicas até instalações e vídeos. Sua instigante produção surge, em grande parte, da observação e reflexão sobre a natureza das coisas e dos seres.
Em suas palavras, “As obras que estarão na ArPa advêm da minha recente produção devotada ao processo de (re)criação de uma mitologia contemporânea em torno da serpente. Acredito nesse ente, que reúne em si cargas simbólicas muito profundas, em sua potência de discursos e narrativas que atravessam o mágico, o onírico, e o ancestral com as questões de gênero, identidade e sexualidade. Os resultados desse processo poético estão materializados em pintura, video, desenhos e cerâmica.”

We are presenting the "Nature reinvented" project at the 3rd edition of ArPa, the contemporary art fair taking place next week in São Paulo.
For this edition, we have brought together works by artists who are aligned in the way they interpret nature, bringing the dialog between ancestral wisdom and the contemporary into their poetic perspective.
Curated by Divino Sobral, the "Nature reinvented" project deals with the relationship between human life and the environment, allowing reflection on the results of this interaction by those who dedicate themselves to observing it.
According to Sobral: "Human life depends on other forms of life on the planet, and gains meaning when represented by or related to other forms of life, in narratives that create fictions that coat the new reality configured by the works with layers of mystery."
Adriana Vignoli lives in Brasilia and produces in different formats such as drawing, sculpture, photography and performance, in order to investigate the landscape in the construction of her poetics marked by biofabulation.
In her work, natural elements and materials such as earth, water, air, fire and plants are used to lead to alchemical transformation, opening up a subjective process of healing the human soul. She is interested in dissolving the material and symbolic boundaries of things; in provoking the viewer to experience time as a continuous flow, inseparable into past, present and future.
Manuela Costa Silva lives in Goiânia and uses different formats to produce: from drawings, paintings, sculptures, ceramics to installations and videos. Her thought-provoking work comes largely from observing and reflecting on the nature of things and beings.
In her words, "The works that will be at ArPa come from my recent production devoted to the process of (re)creating a contemporary mythology around the serpent. I believe in this entity, which carries very deep symbolic charges, in its power of discourses and narratives that cross the magical, the oneiric, and the ancestral with issues of gender, identity and sexuality. The results of this poetic process are materialized in painting, video, drawings and ceramics."
