Dalton Paula é um dos artistas convidados para a Bienal de Veneza
É com enorme alegria que anunciamos, em parceria com a Sé Galeria, que Dalton Paula é um dos artistas convidados para a 60ª Exposição Internacional de Arte de La Biennale di Venezia, curada por Adriano Pedrosa.
Sob o título “Stranieri Ovunque - Foreigners Everywhere”, a mostra acontecerá entre 20 de abril e 24 de novembro de 2024, nos espaços Arsenale e Giardini, na cidade italiana.
Dalton Paula (Brasília, 1982) vive e trabalha em Goiânia. Seu trabalho integra as coleções do Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), de Nova York, da Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo e do Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP). Em 2023, recebeu o Prêmio Soros Arts Fellowship, da Open Society Foundation, pelo projeto Sertão Negro Ateliê Escola de Artes. Em 2022, a individual Dalton Paula: Retratos brasileiros reuniu no Museu de Arte de São Paulo 30 pinturas do artista. No mesmo ano, apresentou a instalação Rota do algodão no Octógono da Pinacoteca de São Paulo. Seu trabalho foi exibido na Trienal do New Museum (Nova York, 2018) e na 32ª Bienal de São Paulo (2016).

We proudly announce that Dalton Paula is one of the artists invited to the 60th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, curated by Adriano Pedrosa.
Under the title “Stranieri Ovunque - Foreigners Everywhere”, the show will take place between April 20th and November 24th, 2024, at the Arsenale and Giardini venues in the Italian city.
Dalton Paula (Brasilia, 1982) lives and works in Goiânia. His work integrates the collections of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York City, Pinacoteca de São Paulo, and Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP). In 2023, he was awarded Soros Arts Fellowship, by the Open Society Foundation, for the project Sertão Negro Ateliê Escola de Artes. In 2022, the solo show Dalton Paula: Retratos brasileiros featured at Museu de Arte de São Paulo 30 portraits by the artist. The same year, he presented the Rota do algodão installation at Octágono da Pinacoteca de São Paulo. He participated at the New Museum Triennale (New York, 2018), and the 32nd Bienal de São Paulo.
